43 42 Silicone lubricant clear silicon lubrication Clear Silicon is a clear, quality lubricant containing silicone. The base of the product is silicone oil with high load and temperature bearing capacity, with various additives. Clear Silicon is intended for lubricating, cleaning and protecting rubber, plastic, metal and wood. The product reduces considerably the inter- surface friction coefficient, prevents their jamming (freezing), repels moisture, gives the surface a nice shine and protects from external influence (UV radiation). General information Clear Silicon is suitable for use everywhere where clear and thin layer of lubricant is needed. The aforementioned places of use are usually characterized by high jamming risk, moisture, water access, volatile dust, average load and temperature range. When used correctly, the lubricating layer remains almost dry and does not soil the surround- ing details. NB! Do not use in paint shops or working spaces that share the common ventilation system. • Temperature range for storing, transportation and use is +5 ºC up to +45 ºC. Shake the aerosol properly before use. Make sure before spraying that the surface is clean. • If necessary, clean the surface with Brake Clean. Spray the product evenly on the surface from 25 cm distance. • The product can be sprayed only if the aerosol is held in upright position. The main ingredients in the product are low viscosity silicone oil, additives and solvents. Due to these substances, the product can withstand high loads, a wide temperature range, prevents jamming and icing of parts and protects surfaces from UV radiation. Compared to Clear Silicon, the aforementioned product is significant- ly more oily, so it has better lubrication properties, temperature resist- ance, surface stability, water separation and better protection against environmental influences, but it collects more dust. Specific applications include sliding surfaces, cutting kni- ves, molds, rails, light-duty loose gears, seals, plugs, tires and padding.
